We had the opportunity to interview Dr. Ruben Fanarjyan and Dr. Sevak Badalyan regarding the state of neurosurgical care in Armenia and our ongoing missions to support their people and neurosurgical services.
October 2020
Dr. Grigorian traveled to Armenia after the conflict started to provide neurosurgical trauma support with instruments and implants.

- First aneurysm clipping

- First treatment of vasospasm with balloon angioplasty
- First treatment of vasospasm with prolong verapamil infusion

Training 2004-2006
- Rotational fellowship-Radiology, Family practice-2004 (2 physicians -2 months rotations)
- Neurosurgeon-completed 3 weeks observational fellowship
- 2 Obstetricians-completed 2 months fellowship
- Plastic surgeon- completed 3 months fellowship
- Fellowship-sleep studies-I neurologist

In collaboration with Yerevan State Medical University, Medical College of Georgia, and Georgia Neurological Institute, Dr. Grigorian provided spinal stabilization sets, ICP monitoring equipment, and endoscopic equipment.
